Hi there, a friend of mine gave me one of his Switches that he "worked on" before.
I cleaned up this mess and found out that there are several pads missing.
Whatever, I tried to turn it on with a charged battery, but the screen won't turn on.
M92T36 is working fine, so I assume that the BQ chip is also fine

The blue marked capacitor has shorts to ground. Should I replace it or is the SoC dead?
No capacitors on B side have shorts.

Rebuild all the lifted pads and then see if the switch charge. I don't think the SoC Tegra is broken.

I don't want to "waste" hours on rebuilding the pads without knowing if it's fixable

Can I remove this capacitor with hot air and measure it outside the circuit?

Don't say that lol. M92T36 is working fine. BQ24913 must be fine too, right?

I didn't test it. But there are 3.8 volt on pin 5 and 3,76 volt on pin 6 at M92T36

4.03 v

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

4,0 Volt in rcm mode

Once I turn it on it goes to 3.99v

How do you know its in rcm mode?

I have 3,28v on pin 5 and constant 3,3v on pin 6 of M92T36.
When it's turned off I get 4,01 volts on that testpoint.
When I turn it on I read 3,94v
When I boot into RCM mode by removing the MMC I read 3,92v

What voltage's do you get on the points next to M92T36 that I've highlighted in the image attached with the switch powered on
