Later i will try update the system and then i tell you, i did Mocha, Wup, loadiine, vwii hacking, region free, cafiine, ftpiiu, i did something wrong?? also i tried format and re-install everything and doesnt worked.

none of those apps would have that effect. updating may be the only way to fix it if the update notices missing titles. however, it won't let u update if the virtual wii is hacked.

revert back to stock. uninstall the cios and I think u might have to restore the NAND as well. I've never done it. however, u should've made a NAND backup and backed up all of ur ios files as wad with yet yabdm. someone else who's actually reverted back to stock may be able to explain the process better, but u should have those things at the ready.

You can update your Wii U if vWii is modded. I don't know what @godreborn is talking about. You are probably already at 5.5.1 firmware anyway so there is nothing to update.

Post a syscheck on here and people will help. Google "VWii syscheck" if you don't know what I'm talking about

This program its for wii or wiiu??

I was under the impression that updating would fail if the virtual wii had been tampered with. that's what I've read anyway. also, I'm assuming the wii u is like the 3ds in that missing app tiles would be redownloaded if they were detected by a system update. that's how it works with the 3ds if something were to just disappear like that. lastly, how is the virtual wii system check going to help tiles that r missing in wii u mode? :P

You're incorrect in your assumption. The vWii hasn't been updated in a long time. It's stayed the same version through multiple Wii U updates.

The only time a hacked vWii will stop the Wii U from updating is if you have somehow bricked your vWii. Then you will have problems. My vWii has been hacked since Wii U version 2.0 and I've always updated just fine with no effect to the vWii

Also, I misread. You said you're missing titles in the Wii U side? Is that correct? Syscheck is for vWii side only.

Its in wiiu, my vWii is fine and works also can read my wii games but my disc channel from wiiu and vwii shorcut isnt appearing on menu

that's what I'm wondering. it's difficult to know if the tiles still exist. there's a metadata indexer that records the tiles created on the system which is y u have to install things. its purpose is to improve loading times. the ps3 actually does the same thing. the xbox 360 doesn't though. lol anyway, that entry may be gone from the indexer, so I think we should try to force reinstallation by an update. it works on the 3ds, so I'm just guessing this will happen. unlike the 3ds, however, the ticket for apps/games doesn't have to be present as there's now an error screen. I don't know if those two things have tickets, where their installed even, so updating may be ur only option. the disc and vWii apps may still be present, just not in the metadata indexer which is y they don't appear. the indexer contains the meta, the location of the important files for the tile to be bootable.

I've never heard of that. Did you check all menus? Did you you go all the way to the right?

Maybe if exist i can downgrade my wiiu and update again i will do anything i can to recover back!

EDIT: i still can use vwii shortcut via wiiu quick starter but no wiiu disc channel

I'm not sure if the default icons r located in the mlc or not. they may be. formatting should correct that if that were the case though, so they may be located elsewhere. with formatting, they would've been recreated by some flash file or simply untouched. it's difficult to say really.

downgrading can't be done afaik. what happens with the 3ds is that it detects missing tiles and redownloads them. there's no downgrading involved. that's y I suggested it. I've never heard of this problem either, so I'm just guessing at this point.

@godreborn is correct. I'd backup all your save games that you care about and reformat your Wii u. Then use my guide (in my sig and in the stickies) to setup the latest hacking methods.
