So, i ftp'd a new emu last night. Went to bed. Woke up, xbox was off and 3 emulators are missing. And, hdd space is missing as well. Had 40 gigs free and sent 17. How can i reclaim this space without reformatting? And why would this happen?? Overheating?
Thank you

You likely FTP'd more data then you wanted.
Other then tracing back the things you copied to the XBox and double checking every folder, there's no other way to do it.

Overheating has nothing to do with HDD space being lost.
Idk how you thought of that lol.

Idk how i thought of that either!
Any way to reclaim the lost hdd space or do i need to format? Its weird because i should have 80 plus gigs with whats missing but it only shows 30 gigs.

If I where you, I'd backup the C E F and G drives to your computer and start from scratch.
Delete everything off off the E F and G drives (DO NOT TOUCH THE C DRIVE) and rebuild it by adding the backup folder from the backup of the E drive to the E drive again (if you made a backup when you softmodded it)
Then slowly add games to the F drive and emulators to the F drive.
Making sure you know what you're copying.

Should i format the f drive or just delete and ftp back again?
Oh, and thanks Dinoh!

Delete it from the FTP window is also fine.
Be sure to reboot once you've got everything backed up.

As long as you do not touch your C drive, nothing can go wrong.

No prob~

Well, I deleted everything but the drive still showed as being full. So I formatted the f drive and reinstalled everything. Ugh!
But, all is well. Running 100% now.
Thanks @DinohScene for your help.
