I am working on a RPG Style game that is based off Minecraft. Anyone that is willing to help please message me. I hope one day that I can make it have Wi-Fi Multiplayer so people can connect and meet up online while trading items/blocks with each other.

Currently done:

What I want to Acheive: (-> If you see this is what I want after that is done)
Moving character
Shops
Gifts
Coins
Lots of PRG style components
Placable blocks
Inventory System
Lan Multiplayer/Same computer multiplayer -> Wi-fi multiplayer
NPC Characters
Monsters
Health System
Chests
Tools/Weapons

This game with be made with Visual Basic (No arguing over it). If you want to help please post and I will addd you name to the list of developers

The post and everything seemed awesome! I supported you all the way...

... Then I read you did this in Visual Basic and had to use all my might to stop myself from laughing.

You do realize Visual Basic is one of the worst programming languages for gaming? Even if you're using an engine, it's horrible.
Stay the fuck away from game creating with visual basic

*Not saying it can't be done, it's just really retarded to DO it*

One suggestion. Pick a different name. You don't have to do this until you get further in development, but you should ask for name suggestions and spending some time on picking a good name.
Anyway, this could be fun if it's more than just a Minecraft clone, meaning it has more RPG elements, like a levelup system and stats, quests, shops, magic spells, everything you'd expect from a typical RPG. Your feature list right now sounds like an exact clone of Minecraft.

Not going to bother commenting on the whole Visual Basic thing, it won't do any good.

I could recreate it in Java, that would take a bit of time. You can help on that if you want

I am going to add all of that stuff, but the list is what I mainly want to work on. I will add shops, and loads of other stuff, if i get people to help me. Do you think that I should recreate the game in Java?
