I heard a hacker was porting the Creative Mode of Minecraft onto the 3DS, and that if you have an R4, you can play it. I assume they mean he made a ROM file.

Anyway, is there a way to play Minecraft on a 3DS?

more than likely they were talking about the DS homebrew DSCraft by smealum which while it can be run on a 3ds with an r4i gold or similar card, is ds homebrew, not 3ds homebrew

Is their a tutorial to put Homebrews on a flashcart, or is it easy?

    I'd love to play DSCraft.

It's a simple case of Copy+Paste. The hard part is even getting the Flashcart to run on your 3DS at all. It depends on your System Software and the cart.

Well, my 3DS is at v6.2, and the card I'm getting supports v6.2.

Do note that this is homebrew, it's not a port, so most things in the PC version of minecraft are missing.

Including monsters and animals in general.

    Wherever you want me, baby.
Without a VERY expansive cart (which gives MUCH extra - and costly specs - that compare close to the Vita's power) Mincecraft will be practically unplayable on the 3ds.

Maybe when I get work, but I really need a cheaper card at the moment.

No animals or monsters or anything else other than you exists. There is no survival mode still from what I see, and development has halted (at least temporarily). What's there is just a base version of the old classic mode.

There is no better version of portable MC for any flash cart or homebrew system.

The DSTwo does not have it's own version of homebrew-MC.

Well, lamecraft is 'there'. But I've never played either, so I don't know which is better. I'm just happy the Vita's getting Minecraft and Terraria :)
