With so many stuff, i forgot about one thing...can anyone tell me what are the limits of the maps for DsCraft? Like in ZxXxY?

@cannonfoddr what virus scanner are you using?
As i found on google(i googled:"program has encountered a problem and needs to close") this might be the problem: Symantec Endpoint Protection needs to be uninstalled. i am now close to sure that it is not the .NET framework but i am not fully sure. In let's say 11 hours i am not able to test anything if it works on other pc's recompiling it changing the .NET version that is required and so on. I am going to debug and recompile it a lot to figure the problem out. So enough to do for tomorrow

what version did you use anyway: 1.2, 1.3, 1.3.6.1
If 1.2 did work i know the problem, than it is internet related.

@anyone did someone get this to work, if yes did you have Visual Studio installed?

This quote help?

QUOTE(Smealum @ Aug 28 2011, 11:04 PM) Yeah, as I've said a few times already, the DS version can only handle maps up to 1024x1024 (give or take). 2048x2048 and above are only supported in DSi mode (like with sudokuhax). However, 2048x2048 already means a 512MB file, so I doubt that many people would want to play with that.

Yes it does...thank you..

And if i'm not mistaken, that means that DsCraft can only read maps with 64 chunks....well, at least in DS mode....

tried 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3.6.1 - all doing the same thing (couldn't find your link to 1.3 though)

Oh & I don't have any 'Visual Studio stuff' installed either - so that MIGHT be a reason

I have been playing this for a few days now and here are some screens.

I made a really glitchy pool, a really bad diving board(had to make it like that since there are not any ladders). I also made a pretty big house and put my username on the roof, also made it have purple carpet

and windows.

BTW why say guy instead of fella! XD
Yay figured how to use the converter!

Yep the game crashes while wondering around for about half an hour on the map you converted, and a lot of negatives, not all blocks are in DScraft and the map I quickly downloaded, which was a huge castle, turned into a huge water sculpture after conversion! D;

In real minecraft, 1 chunk is equal to 16 blocks, so, as i believe that 1024 is the amount of blocks....that gives 64 chunks. Most of the map generators and editors for Minecraft works with chunks as a measure....

I've got some problems. So I put MC2DS and ZLIB1 files in the same folder with region. It converts and I get the testmap.map of 8 mb size, but when i put it in my Sd card and try to play the map in the DSCraft all I get is Guru meditation error. What should i Do?
P.S. Sorry for my English.

he said it is likely to crash(meaning a guru meditation error):
QUOTE(smealum @ Aug 28 2011, 07:54 PM)
Again, this is extremely early and is probably buggy, you can't choose which part of the map you want to convert and it doesn't support torches and in their current form maps generated this way are likely to crash DScraft (at least current version, it's been "fixed" already), especially if they include large bodies of water. So you have been warned, don't complain about it because I honestly couldn't care less at this point.
