can you explain? idk where to find it so idk if the patch is in the file or if it's an actual file I need to download or something, sorry to bother on an old post

How did you do that, I tried countless times with a cia that I had found and no matter how hard I tried to make it work for the game, the skins did not appear.

Oh i found the way to do it,you only need to follow the instructions of the page called:"Hshop"
You only need to search your region,the dlc and install the qr after that the last thing you need to do is downloading the qr called "minecraft dlc activator" in the same page and finally open the program and closed it (ToT)

I downloaded Minecraft, updated it, made a new world so a file would exist. After playing for a time, I saved, exited, and downloaded the Minecraft DLC program. After I ran it, it said everything executed successfully. Yet when I boot up Minecraft, I don't have anything outside of the free DLC.

Any idea what I could have done wrong?

I have the same issue. This is just speculation, but I think there must be a flag that needs to be set in the save file that enables it, which marks the content as purchased.

Would anyone who has successfully installed the Minecraft DLC packs care to comment?

You need to download the actual DLC first, which you can get from the HAHAHAHAHAShop. Then, you can use the activator.
