Does anyone know what this number means in the "continue game" menu ?

It increases with the amount of ground you discover in the map, but sometimes it also decreases, so I don't really understand what it means.

I think that's how much space on the SD card that world is taking up, I'm not sure if it's in megabytes or nintendo blocks though.

wow interesting, I hadn't thought of that!

I have just tried flying over the whole map of a couple of worlds (looking for villages and temples), and that number in the menu went up to like 1100 and 1200-ish so the size of a single save might be quite important.

I will check in the 3DS settings to see how many blocks the game takes up.

Edit : As far as blocks go in the 3DS settings, the number in the Minecraft menu does not match the blocks taken by the game itself. Maybe there's a way of checking the size of the game's save file, but I would not know where to look for it, I only know the Checkpoint save manager.
