Worked like a charm !
Indeed it's just a package, but a clean package with a nicer guide too (and NO ADDS...).

I would just advise :
- switch to crazy intro video
- not check remove health screen with starfall. If you want to install themes and screens you'll have to restore systemmenu.

Nice work

Thanks.
I will rewrite some section in the manual and add something.
That's why this is a prerelease.

You are on PAL!?

So you can use the PAL version. It's available.
I just need some testers for NTSC.

@D-Jay
OK, this pisses all over Softmii. In fact, this is a Softmii killer.
Your guide and tools are cleaner and better presented. I still don't like names for guides but I have to say well done with this project.
Nice work!

I have Pal version, I haven´t NTSC but I can look for them to do testers with the NTSC version.
I can provide the PAL version.

Thanks. Really happy to read this from you.
And please don't care about a name. It's JUST a name for something, so people can make differences.
Nothing more.

I could name it "JASWABGFN" (Just Another Softmod With A Better Guide For Noobs)
wink.gif

But I think, MiiWii sounds better.
Just my opinion.

I too am not a big fan on the name and version number thing, as it really makes it sound like a piece of software. Why not just a title (e.g. "D-Jay's Wii Modding Guide" or something funkier) and latest-update date?

cool mplayerCE skin .. can we get a copy of the loop.avi with maybe MplayerCE at the bottom instead of miiwii ? :]
Yes, I will make some.

This would be realy awesome, it simply looks too awesome

...I took a look in the Package (basicly because I was hoping to find the loop.avi in it..
tongue.gif
) and I was astonished...such a simple way, you can't nearly do something wrong...10-times better than I expected...this just kicks SoftMii away...AWESOME WORK
grog.gif
. Oh, and I need that loop.avi..NOW (JK)

.

You know, if people still don't like how it is aptly named, you could just name it "MiiWii Package" or something. Then it won't be referred to as an actual singular mod but a package of mods.

Who cares about the name?
He did an impressive work coding an installer from wadmanager and worked hard for weeks to release this tool/package.
So please quit the babbling and thank the man!

Excuse me D-Jay, may I ask you why did you include Waninkoko's loader instead of Wiigator's? Isn't Wiigator's supposed to be better (Memory Card bug, disk swapping for 2 disk games, audio fix)?

I did not recognize any problem with Waninkokos cMIOS. So I used this.
If anybody reports problems with this, I will take a look at wiigators.

btw With the last cMIOS by Waninkoko, there's no problem with Memory Cards.

Wow, people sure are hostile. I read the first couple of pages to see people bitching about the name and posted a suggestion about it. I don't see the reason for such a retort. Besides, I can't thank someone for something I'm not using.

Ok, maybe I am confusing a little bit. But I believe that Wiigator's cMIOS is the only one with disk swapping support for multi disk games (like Metal Gear or REmake). If this is true then Wiigator's cMIOS is actually better than Waninkokos (more compatibility)

I know that the systemmenu tweaks like Health Screen and I'm going to go ahead and say the date (Which in the video showed the day) are PAL only, but is there anything else? I'd love to see a beta NTSC version too.

Oh and the language since I don't think everyone in the US speaks German.

I now feeel idiotic:

Todo

- Complete UnInstaller (80% finished)
- Add Downgrade-Manual as an optonal section
- Remove bugs
- Complete NTSC version (next days)

@Tetsuo Shima: I will check that. But as I see, you have to own a GC-Pad to install Wiigators stuff. That's bad.

@Golfman560: NTSC(U) will be available for testing next days, this week.

You're right!

But I put in my GC-Pad just when I want to play. Not for installing some stuff.
That's a difference.
Installing should be as easy as possible.

When the NTSC is release I will give this a try. Looks very well put together. I can see you've really put your skills, creativity and knowledge of the necessary Wii Tools into an all in one pack.
Keep up the Great work.
