Gaming mii plaza..beurk...

Hell-o tempers and temperettes!
I an curious to know if i'm the only one who find the mii plaza (menu's second screen) useless and boring?

If you would have the choice, would you replace it with something else? Dont forget that whatever it would be, it can still have players's comments like in miiplaza.

To be honest I'd like to have just the Gamepad View (the tiles) mirrored to TV. That's all I need.
If it's in a dark theme -> even better! (on Gamepad and TV of course)

Edit: But I wouldn't say no to a Loadiinesque Cover Flow on TV. Of course it would need some kind of detection which icon you're selecting currently on the Gamepad to get it's titleID to look on a folder (SD, USB oder NAND?) for a PNG file with that titleID to show.

Yeah! Duplicating screen should easy to edit in the sysmenu.. but i think it will have the same resolution it gives to the gamepad.. or maybe a script could force it? I noticed scripts in lua in the sysmenu but i dont know how to script yet.. whenever i try to edit the scripts, i just cant boot the menu..

I love the idea of seeing the title image on top screen when the cursor roam over icons.. it could use the same image from the game's launching screen, that way we wouldnt need to add new images for every games!

Well I don't spend that much time in the menu so I could "live" with Gamepad resolution on TV.

Ah the bgm.. i disnt find the right file yet for the bgm for the screen with channels (not mii plaza) but there is a banner file that when i edit it, it changes the menu but i cant get a nice big image.. it just 'tile' the same image.. but i think the file i use is just a layer for the normal map.. but when its just a plain colour it looks good..
