I need to know how/where its located. Then I might be able to make a link! Then hide it so it it acted as if it were moved!

the disc channel is NOT a channel, is part of the system menu
You are sure? Nope... just since you can't dump it via WAD creator (or via FS_Dumper and that that GUI tool thing. or you self.) doesn't mean you can't access it and dump the files to your PC, since it is on the NAND.

beegee7730: Yes, similar. But Have the ability to boot wii and gc. And still show the banner to each game. > Some way to link to the DVD Channel.

alejandroues: Its possible to create a patch to hide it.

BTW: If there comes a patch in the future, then tell the coders to have the ability to undo it! like access it in the "Maintenance Mode"

Maintenance Mode can be launched by holding (A) and (+) and (-) at health screen. - I do not know what it does yet.

Hrm, Adr990: The guy moved his DVD channel,... but did not remove/move its location on the NAND.
But he edited it.

Um, those are USB/Disc loader custom channels, not the disc channel.

I'm thinking that the Title ID in the ticket of the Mii Channel shouldn't be changed. What the ticket uses the ID for is decryption of the contents, not location of them. The contents won't hash right, or turn out right at all, without the ID they were encrypted with (Title ID acts as an IV in AES decryption). I also would make sure you have brick protection before installing like this, though there shouldn't be any issues in theory.

Oh. By watching the videos, I got the impression that he extracted the Disc Channel's banner and edited it.

I don't know what this would alter as far as signatures/signing goes, but it shouldn't be needing trucha or any of that business.
Altering the ticket or tmd means they have to be re-signed (fakesigned).
Changing the encryption key/IV shouldn't matter - an unpacked .wad is unencrypted, the wadpacker will re-encrypt it using the new key/IV.

yes im sure, look at it for yourself.

Its in the u8 archive 0000007X.app (X=2 for U and X=5 for E) of the system menu 4.0 (0000004X.app for 3.2)

once you extract the u8 archive, this is where its located: \layout\common\diskBann.ash

Ah well, when i only modified title and not ticket, wadmanager wouldn't install 0_0...
Btw, I am packing the wads with wwpacker (no-mod batch).

the Disk channel is movable, with a preloader hack but only around the menu and not to SD.

Hmm, I don't know how you installed with both changed as well, since with both changed decryption fail prevents wad mananger from installing past the first content. Having only the TMD changed reports as -1028, and crediar's wadimport states that it cannot install due to the fact that you don't own the title.

I only made the changes to the WAD, so now I see why yours probably worked. I can't get any packers to work properly right now.
