Internet Explorer sucks cow nipples, Google Chrome is the best.

Did you know that Google owns the rights to all your searchs through chrome. Read your terms and conditions and see how Chrome sucks too. Firefox all the way.

No. The only only people that use IE are people that don't know anything about computers and think IE is the internet. Google Chrome FTW. (and soon ChromeOS

I asked my friend which internet provider he had. He said Internet Explorer.

I use Firefox, but still I don't think IE is a bad application.
Heck is way way better then AOL browser that believe it or not a lot of people still uses around here LOL.
I'm trying to get into Chrome , I really want to like it, especially since I love lightweight and faster applications opposite to large , bulky milestones of heavy duty OS integrated programs...., but somehow I find in lacking , don't know exactly what it is, but I just like the way I layed out favorites and stuff around here on Firefox and it's not worth to change it ....yet.
But yeah as a browser IE does a lot of things right ( tabs, favorites, add ons, customization, ) and it hasn't any trouble displaying any page I trow at it, while some obscure ones do have problems in other browsers and clearly go for " optimized for IE blah blah...".
It didn't happen in the past couple of years or so mind you, but a few times I got trouble loading some pages and I had to use IE instead of firefox.
So although I prefer firefox, it wouldn't be fair to say that IE sucks.
You can do worse than that. Just my 2 cents.

For browsing and the casual stuff most people do its fine. It isn't a bad browser. It just lacks in certain aspects that we care about. Firefox and Opera just have some of the stuff we want and use in our everyday lives. Plus it has an awesome amount of add-ons. The thread wasn't named correctly...
BTW, Firefox > Opera > IE > Chrome > Safari

IE is good for what it is: A means to get you on the internet. Which, in hindsight, should be the only thing that matters.
For everything else, of course, it fails in comparison to the "better" browsers out there. We all like shiny things.

)

For everyday matter, i use firefox, if only they can do something about how much memory FF use, i will die a happier dude.

Did you know that it's incredibly simple to disable Google's tracking? And even if you don't, it's not like anything will happen. What, you think Chrome is spyware?

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
