How would this help video chatting online, as it is the most significant reason why people buy cameras for their computer?
The only thing that would seem new is the camera following the person as he/she walks away... But then what's the point?

Oh I'm sure they know what they're doing and are trying to bring a kind of "Minority Report" thing to present day but its not needed until we get those screens. Pretty much happy with mouse control, if I wanted more control I'd get a touchscreen monitor but it'll sell to those people who get a new iPhone every year.

A few days ago I was watching news about TVs manufactures to built in "motion and speech recognizing technology? into future TVs and the bitch announcing the news was like OMG what they'll think of next.....! Never heard of Kinect apparently.
So yeas, this kind of technology is catching up pretty fast, expect to see it built in in your house ( remember Back to the Future II and the " lights on " gag ? ) sooner then you expect.
Having it on windows for now, will guarantee that every geek will find several experimental uses for it , in way that we never could imagine...
