so I've been recently contemplating buying a SC DSTwo and I was looking for info on what microsd to purchase.

My main concern is of course any possible frame rate issues. I would like to know if better read speeds on the sdcard equates to better performance, faster saving, etc.

These are the cards I'm considering atm:
Sandisk Extreme Pro 8 GB (95 MB/s Read)
Sandisk Extreme 16 GB (80 MB/s Read)
Sandisk Ultra 16 GB (30 MB/s Read)

Another question I had was if I could put multiple ROMs on the same microsd and play them on the 3DS.

Anyone care to enlighten me?

better read speeds will most certainly be better, but with that said you won't noticed much of a difference for a vast majority of ds games. there were only a few problem games over the years and most were fixed/adjusted in software. as for sandisk, i've read a lot of mixed reports. the two brands we recommend most for flash kits are transcend and adata.

the scds2 works on the 3ds in ds-mode only. you store as many games, apps, homebrew, emulators, hacks, translations, etc, that can fit on the card. the kernel contains a file browser.
