So 2 days ago I had to take out the MicroSD from my Switch since I needed it for something. The Switch's been sitting fine, but today after reinserting the MicroSD, it wasn't able to read it.

I tried inserting it while the console was off, restarting, still couldn't read it. Formatting doesn't work since, well, it gives me an error code 2002-2001, Unable to read MicroSD.

I tried using a different one, and it wasn't able to read it too. A friend told me to shake the Switch gently and see if there are any weird sounds where the reader is, which would indicate that it's janky. I didn't hear any sounds, which honestly confuses me further.

Is the reader broken or something? Do I need to repair it? Thanks in advance.

Try using the SD card in another system that can use micro SD, as for your system do you have exfat driver on the system if you are using exfat format?

Did that using my phone, it had no problems reading the MicroSD whatsoever.

And yes it does.
