I started out using a cheapish card reader I bought online to replace the one that came with my R4. It worked for a while, but then my computer stopped seeing the card when I used it. I switched to the cheap one that came with the R4.. But now that one has started acting exactly like the other one. I finally got it to work, and backed up my files, only to realize they must be curropt. no$gba & the R4 both wont load the roms or save files. (But the R4 boots.. Most of the time it gets stuck at "Loading" though.) Also, mysteriously, all txt files, and all GBA related files are missing completely..
I assume they're all corrupt, but, is there a way to at least salvage the save files? Most I have backed up otherwise, but A few I don't, like FF4, for example, which is frustrating..
