Hi all,

I have had an SDTT card with a Micro SD for years now. It was given to me already set up and I have been able to transfer DS ROMs off and on to it for years now.

I stopped using it for a good few years and recently thought to pick up my Nintendo DS Lite and give it another play. As I started transferring files on I saw how many I had on previously and decided that I would delete them all and start transferring the games on again. The whole system worked perfectly at this point.

Being a complete newbie I decided to format the disk to save time and ended up losing the capability to transfer DS games on to it and play it on my DS.

I copy and paste the files on to the micro SD, however it says ‘Menu?’ on the screen when I insert the card to the DS.

I’ve done some research and understand that I need some kind of software on it, but I really have no clue.

Please help! I loved using this but I have no knowledge with this sort of thing, so please make your advice dummy-friendly.

If I need to just purchase a new Micro SD I am happy to.

Thank you!

I have downloaded something from the NDSTT website. I also downloaded some software called 7-Zip (I think?) as this was suggested in the comments section to extract the files. I’m not sure what to do from there!

You need to download the firmware files and extract it to the main of the micro SD card .

Right click on the archive (the 7z or whatever) and do 7-zip > extract to /blarg (blarg being the archive name)

And then, move said files to your DSTT, make a rom folder and place your NDS ROMs there...
