i have a TRANSECEND class 6 Micro SD; 4GB

i used in in my Nokia n900 to run Nitdroid on it (android for n900 basically)

it formatted 2GB of it to some format X which i have no idea what it is, so basically windows now reads it as a 2GB

how can i restore it back to its original size ? - how exactly do partitons work on Micro SD's , and thus what do i use to restore, make, create them etc.

Even I'm curious about how it happened lol. Why don't you use the windows disk drive manager to delete the partition and then merge it. You can then format it with the Panasonic formatter or something.

skipped the windows part (for it will just make things worse being windows and all) and downloaded Panasonic formatter

i clicked in the suboptions and there was something to do with original format size (something of the sort dnt recall well)

and then i formatted and voila my 4GB is back

i never bothered using this panasonic thing till now, thanks for reminding me about it
