ROM Hack MHX Save Editing

Well this is my first time trying this and I could use just a bit of help. I was hoping I could directly copy two files (00000003 and 00000004) from 00001554 and it would work, but of course it created an error.

In order to transfer my save to a whole different 3DS, do I need to somehow perform an extdata dump and then do something with that file on the other 3DS's SD card? Any advice could save me hours of bad results...

I can help you, if you can upload your save when youre done! ( If youre over HR3 ).
Anyways, download savedatafiler.cia and install it on 3ds (search on google). Go to EXT and dump 1554 to sd card. Itll dump system file. Put the sd card on the other 3ds, and go to the import tab and choose to import the save you dumped

Dude you said you have cubic ninja & homebrew access!?! go to homebrew menu and there should be a tool named extradatatool! use that...

Hell yes, it worked!

Sorry to be a pain in the ass, it's just that today is my first time messing with Homebrew since Mario Kart Wii hacking days. Basically I wasn't understanding that I needed to write the command into config.txt, so there it is.

Now hopefully I can just use FTP to make the transfer process more painless. This is gonna be a great playthrough now.

AFAIK we can unpack arc. but can not inject any file to arc. I found thread for thw arc on the forum before.

ok.now I translated some basic buttons on the program.
will translate all the Items to English but there is over 1500 items so need much time to done.

i've been using poogie's thing as a guide in translating the items i need; is it just me or some monster parts from MH4U no longer exists (unobtainable) in MHX?

@-Xin- about the pack rat guide and backpacker guide not unlocking... i raised my HR to 3 and village to 4 but i still cant buy those damn guides at which level did they re-unlocked for you???
