Homebrew Mhg save to digital

Unfortunately I lost my physical copy of monster Hunter generations. Now I have a digital copy. Is it possible to transfer my physical save to my digital via home brew because it saved on the SD card?

Not sure if this is the right section.

It didn't save on the SD card, it saved on the cartridge. The only way to get your save back is by cheating, or by finding your missing cartridge. Sorry.

For the future you can use JK's Save Manager to backup saves from cartridges to the SD card. That way you'll be able to inject saves into carts or digital copies if you physically lose any other games.

So use JK's Save Manager. Select the save data and find the corresponding game(I believe you use left and right or up and down to scroll through) and inject it.

Even if you did save extra data to the SD card, you might need both. But you wont know till you try.
