PS1/2 MGS3 Subsistence - Trim Disc 2?

Disc 2 of MGS3 Subsistence contains MG1 and 2 MSX versions. These work very good with emulator. But I'd rather not rip and have a 3GB iso on my hard drive for emulation only. Could a disc like this be trimmed somehow? I have no idea how this disc work, but PCSX2 can launch separat files. Maybe this is possible somehow?

My PS2 hacking skills are not what one would wish...

Why not download an MSX emulator for PC and the Metal Gear disk images?

Because the MSX versions run like crap and the PS2 versions run great...

Anyone knows if this is possible? Not that I can't use the MSX roms or ISO's, but it would be nice if I could make it work...
