No I mean to launch games in mGBA directly from the 3ds screen.mGBA comes as both (.CIA) for forwarder and (.3DSX) for hbmenu, both of which can be downloaded from the Universal Updater.

The title of your thread said 'mGBA forwarders' as in a (.CIA) forwarder for mGBA right? No I mean to launch games in mGBA directly from the 3ds screen.
I think he means having the gba game on homescreen but instead of using the native emulator it launches the game using mgba. So imagine Warioland 4, you launch it and it goes ingame, then you can use the mgba settings directly ingame, so what he wants would be to not have to open the mgba app and instead open the game directly but still using mgba instead of the virtual consoleThe title of your thread said 'mGBA forwarders' as in (.CIA) forwarders. If you at least chosen a better title then it would've been as described.
As for launching games from mGBA, place the GBA ROMs into your "Games/GBA" directory, then launch them directly from the emulator. Doesn't matter which folder as long as you can remember it.
only thing i could find. its from 2022. might work. https://github.com/HeyItsJono/mgba-3DS-ForwarderI remember reading that they were possible and functional months and months ago but the info dried up and it’s hard to find ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about mGBA for 3ds.
Yeah i remember seeing that but thought there was an official note of something else on the way but I can’t remember if that was in discord, reply to suggestions on github, or somewhere else.only thing i could find. its from 2022. might work. https://github.com/HeyItsJono/mgba-3DS-Forwarder
nah. Just ask questions and say “oh” when you’re corrected. It’s easier. I promise. The title of your thread said 'mGBA forwarders' as in (.CIA) forwarders. If you at least chosen a better title then it would've been as described.

There's also the Super Ultimate Injector to inject GBA games as separate forwarders. It supports both gpSP, mGBA, and the native GBA VC emulators. If that's what you're looking for, then great.

It's been out for a very long time, but it's super useful for building forwarders from your game library. This looks pretty cool

It willIt seems I can only make forwarders for RetroArch mGBA. Do you know if there's anything similar for standalone mGBA?
