Huh, I don´t really understand what you are talking about. I already completed the game on Switch 2.
But I am missing two logbook entries from the first boss fight, so I can´t get 100%.
My request was for a cheat to unlock all logbook entries.
well now we understand eatchother. Ok i have not the slightest clue ^^ i scan everything i see old fashion style ^^

Yeah me too. And I still missed those 2 scans.
well can you reduce the search to a area or to a form of other specification, like ice fire or elemental enemy? When yes you can search with that range of parameters online and then go where the searchresult leads you.

There are some websites that enalbe with a account progress keeping. Dont ask me for one but i have seen that a lot lately...

if anyone is looking to find the scan section for the logbook you will need to have scanned a few things first do a hex string search for 00 00 80 3F 0A 00 00 00 00 00 80 3F 0A there will be ids ranging from 00-0A you just need to put 00 00 80 3F in front of them or if you change type to float then 1. someone should be able to use this info to make a pointer code. Its also possible to edit saves but you need to fix checksum in save it is the first 4 bytes (CRC-32/JAMCRC ).

wait, wait, wait.
is this possible for in game, or only save editing?

then am i doing something wrong? i found the pattern on my save and on my live game. but no matter what i do, there is no change....
It only work for me because I had a lot filled in so that pattern was one of the first results. A longer string search should narrow it down. Also it seems if I do the search straight after loading save its more likely to be a early result. this is what it looks like for me in memory. also i think game keeps both auto and manual save info in memory. also been told that changing everthing can cause a softlock it's likey ones with id 0A as i tested and everthing from 00 to 08 are logbook scans but not 100 percent sure if some of those are story scans. 2025121202063300-DB1426D1DFD034027CECDE9C2DD914B8.jpg

Hey, I just wanted to point out that I did the same method as you and had the same problem, but reading Pj's reply, it was applying it to the autosave instead of the first slot.
Seems I went to the 2nd of the 'correct locations' instead.

Edit: it did work, was able to add up to 100%

welp, i gonna give up on the scan pointer/code since i cant find the address i need, and instead work on using powerups without having said powerup.
ie. 0x1237328 -> fmov s0, 1.0 for (what appears to be) boost ball.
its looking like some instructions are accessing multiple powerups, and will most likely require a code cave to filter out select powerups.

I'm not sure the Large/Super Charge Shot Don't decrease codes do anything ?

The rest of the codes all seem to work nicely though

There are for if you wanted certain things to decrease, but not everything.
Ie. You want inf powerbombs , but keep missiles normal.

Does that mean these two just don't use elemental energy when you use them ?

is anyone else early hacking in the grapple beam (offsets 0x420 and 0x540 ingame) only to find it working AFTER killing the flare pool boss?

Ok, so look into killing bosses? I dont know why pm's stopped working. Plus, i think one boss battle, on the bike, might not be skip-able.

Gamerjin sorry I wasn't more clearer I'm just starting the game on the first boss where you have to shoot both tentacles and the Pod opens up the tentacles respond too fast at the shooting so the pod does not open up
