Hacking Metroid Prime 1 Wii dol file.. ??

I have USB loader GX and I want to play Metroid Prime 1 Wii on it..

But I need the .dol file for the game so I can play it on the USB Loader..

does anyone kow were I can get this file.. ??

You can just select the .dol from the iso in USB Loader GX options. (If you have one of the latest revisions that is).

I have tryed but wont work.. ( yes I have the latest one.. Updated yesterday)

You can rip it yourself. Copy the ISO to your PC and open it in Wiiscrubber. Find the appropriate dol and extract it to your card.

i have it, i was fiddling with this today, but GX isnt very reliable in booting this game, its loaded successfully 2 times out of 5, im trying other loaders right now. But anyways expect a PM pretty soon.

P.S. i found putting a disk in the drive helps getting it to boot on CIOS rev 14.

it did not work.. xD

what I did was.

1. select "Metroid Prime" in the game menu.
2. select settings > Game Load
3. went down to "alt. dol" ore something..
4. selected "load dol from SD" ore something like that.. xD
5. Saved.
6. went back to the game.
7. pressed the "Play DVD"

and it gives me a black screen..

(Yes I renamed the dol to "R3IJ01.dol" ) and yes I have it in the right place.

can't do it if you want to play it on GX you have to use the alt dol method either that or burn it to a disc. it's the only way to play this it's different from other wii games.

Ok, i did some more testing and heres what ive found.

1. it loads better on 222
2. it DOES work in Gx
3. the other dol file boots it more consistently (worked every time i tried)

of course it works in gx you have to load the menu dol 1st to create a save file than you can load the other dol files to play the game. but don't go into your wiis save game menu or it will delete the save games without even telling you.

to the OP:
try setting the game language to Japanese and Video mode to AutoPatch
Maybe Patchcountrystrings is needed as well
