Hacking Metoid Other M Baby's Cry freeze LAST THREAD

Well i say it again Wiitard release is just underdumped. Around offset 0x150000000 it´s just filled with zeros

I´m almost at the end (i think

) and it freezes after i´ve beaten the Mother Queen in a cutscene tried it now with cIOS rev20 base57 and hermes cIOS v4 base38 and it freezes at the exact same point. Well could be that the non-Scene release isn´t complete too (Anyone had the same problem !?)

dunno all i know is that the "Proper release is NOT working for me, so i am downloading the XXXX IND version that was gonna get nuked 4 days ago XD because it was "not complete"
the Proper version even HUNG in the freaking emulator i tested it on. even more so the screen went black on Multiple occasions during the Tutorial (where you wall kick out of the pit)
and i didn't have that with the IND iso, but my stupid ass deleted that ISO so i am redownloading it right now. will be done in an hour orso, will post results here when i get it and such

1. Not on Baby's Cry cutscene, but that might just be luck. Maybe 9 out of 10 times, it freezes on random pre-rendered cutscenes (in-game cutscenes are fine)
2. DVD+R DL with the correct layer break and booktype.

play it through wiiflow rev20 setting 222 and it will never freeze.

That's what i would expect if the game was ripped or played with a cIOS with broken DL support. You should check what release you are using.

Your wii has trouble the disc, this could be because your drive doesn't like DL at all, your drive is dying, you used bad media or your burn is bad. Or any combination of this.

I wonder about that - it's fine with Brawl, so perhaps it's a bad burn. Will reburn at 2x rather than 4x and see if it helps any. (The media is verbatim DVD+R DL, which is normally ok)

Haven't had a chance to play the game yet but how can i tell what release i have? I got mine from that spanish site that day it first showed up and all the rar files are named

Also game shows up in wiibackup manager(0.3.4r4) as 7.26GB and has the UG partitions if that's any help.
