Hacking Method to remove update nag from Emunand?

I discovered the method to solve and it's very simple for New3DS: enter in eshop (without spoofer or hans) from home menu in emunand, when the nag of update appears, select "update" (don't worry) and appear the recovery menu, now only SELECT CANCEL and the pre-update has been deleted.

I would never risk doing this ever, you couldn't pay me to do this.

You can't update directly from the eShop, it'll just tell you to go in system settings to update iirc.

THIS needs to be stickied. Had an EmuNAND backup with an old system update that kept bricking every time it started. This method worked to fix my problem and get me back to the latest EmuNAND on my N3DS. THANK YOU! Been searching all afternoon for this answer!
