I think it's funny how Portable Ops got shafted.

I wonder if these will feature the extras from Substance and Subsistence or just be straight ports of the original games.

I'm actually a little more interested in the Zone of Enders HD collection as I've heard good things about that series but never got the chance to play them.

Don't get me wrong, They absolutely screwed the pooch by not remaking the orginal psx version. However, why all the hate on peacewalker? I enjoyed that one, and honestly the only the major flaw was the system it was written for. The controls were the worst imo.

Oh yeah, and to be fair, The Twin Snakes code could be used. It isn't like it has the Nintendo license. It was just a Gamecube exclusive at the time. Really though, it would just be a base for the enhancements anyways. I still don't see the reason for leaving out MGS.

Yah the Gamegube remake was great, i loved the new cutscenes.

Now we need remake of the 2 original games on the MSX computer, so we can see Outer Heaven and Zanzibar were it all started on todays system.

They did remake the first one, it was called Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for the Gamecube.

Great for several reasons:

1. MGS is ALWAYS good
2. HD remakes = "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY"

Bad because:

1.WHY U NO LOVE 1?
2.WHY IS IT NOT SUBSTANCE AND SUBSISTANCE?

I mean what the hell, they had more content, better camera angles and everything. HWY remake the previous versions? That's pretty stupid. No Pointless American Flag facepaint for me...

I agree, I also liked MGS gamecube more than the original.

i would have to agree with that BUT, the orignal is slight more better, one thing that has put the orignal down is the fact that it hasn't aged so well, the jaggies and the ps1 graphics are very off putting playing it now compared to when we first experienced it, i would love to see mgs1 remade in hd one day, we can only hope.

i would also love to see special VR missions to be remastred, i loved the VR missions
