Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Officially Announced!

Hideo Kojima has officially announced Metal Gear Solid HD collection (And Zone Of the Enders HD Collection) for PS3 and X360.

The collection will include 3 games: Metal Gear Solid 2 (XBOX, PC, PS2) , Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2) and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (PSP).

The release date will be in November 2011.

I was really hoping Konami would announce a new Contra and/or Castlevania. I like MGS, don't get me wrong, but it feels like they don't care much about their other series any more. I guess MGS is where the money is.

Well, that's pretty cool I guess, especially for those that haven't played them. Peace Walker could definitely benefit from a second analog stick.

Same here. It's just plainly stupid to not include MGS too, and that will scare away most 360 users that have never played the series, since they won't be able to start from the first one.

This makes no marketing sense whatsoever, Konami.

being a huge MGS fan I could never play MGS2 and MGS3 other than back in the day on the PS2, and I havent had a PS2 for YEARS.
I dreamed to replay those 2 fantastic games but they were never ported to the 360.
now they're just around the corner! COME ON QUICK

is this a joke? i thorght hideo said he wasn't going to make anything like this, also will the metal gear solid 2 be the extra version with VR missions? (same for metal gear solid 3 hope it's the subsistence version!) i certianly hope so, that would make my day! also why hasn't metal gear solid 1 not included int the collection they could have just got the gamecube version and remastred it for the ps3!

double KO zoe collection too! that should make the oirngal ps2 versions completly worthless now

i have both games on the ps2.

on top of that they will all have trophies too
