Gaming Metal gear Solid-Frame rate issue

Hi , im playing this game , but i think it doesnt have a good frame rate in cutscenes and gampeplay in general , my firmware is 2.2U I just would like to know if the frame rate will improve if i update my 3Ds??

Yeah , i've read that , but i also know that some games improve their performance with especific updates relases , snake eater isn't the same? ?

A newer firmware may actually make the game run smoother, but I would say it would be a waste to update to the latest as you are below 4.5. that means you can use a Gateway3DS if you buy a game that will update it to between 4.1 and 4.5 first. (as those are the only firmware's that work with Gateway.

Yeah , i know pal and thats strong point , but where i live i dont expect to see Gateway3Ds in the early time , so maybe in the future the Gateway3ds could support others firmware , i just wanna know if someone from this forum has MGS3Ds with som of the newer firmware.

I have the game and the latest firmware,
the game run a bit better.
Anyway the original game also have bad frame rate so there are not many differences.

Well , thanks my friend. Do you really think that the improvement that you say deserve updating (from 2.20) my 3DS ??

If you have games with online multiplayer, it is worth.

Otherwise, i don't recommend update the firmware.

It is just a bad port of MGS3 and no firmware updates will fix that. Pick up any other version if you want to actually have an enjoyable experience playing MGS.

Thanks , I really love MGS3 . I've played it many times on PS2.I think i won't make the update ,kinda getting used to the frameRate issues

Yeah, 15 FPS is awesome.

Its sad , but is true , in some cutscenes the framerate is way too low , altough in actual gameplay things at least for me aren't that bad

yeah well..60fps should be the standard these days..i prefer 60fps and actually can notice a difference!

MGS3D runs in 15FPS, maybe even less.
