Hacking Memory Card saves not loading on DML?

Hello I installed DML recently and I wanted to play Sonic Adventure Battle 2 (Haven't played it in a long time disk broke). Well the game boots fine but when it does the file select it doesn't load the save file that was on my memory card .
Any help?

Yes it is I tested it on Sonic Adventure DX & Super Smash Bros Melee and it works.

Forgot to mention that it only works on retail games.
