Your previous post implied that neither this nor Atmosphere were likely to get released anytime soon, if at all.

All I said was that they were both being developed by people that have a good track record (meaning there is no reason to doubt their legitimacy) but with no estimated release date (at least Rei hasn't give one for mememenu/boginstaller). I will agree that Atmosphere may have held an initial release window of June 15th prior to the exploit getting leaked. However, I stand by that neither Atmosphere nor this title installer have a set release window. Interpreting this as it potentially being months away was not my intention as it could be released anytime between tomorrow or next month but that's too deep of a speculation

If there is supposedly a tool that can convert .XCI into .NSP, then we still need a way to obtain game updates and DLC as I'm sure people will be interested in installing those as well as backups

If i'm not wrong eshop files are nsp, yoka laylee is at least. Now only game updates and dlcs are needed, hope someone find a way to extract them.

Good job Rei, this honestly inspired me to start getting into programming so I can contribute to the homebrew scene. I’m tired of sitting in the background ever since the PSP scene got big.

Rei probably has something like that. I'm sure a tool will be made if it's not already in existence, so don't worry about it.

Technically, also a USB cable but in a nutshell, yes a paperclip can let you run backups

Throw your xci's into the trash and get yourself some nsp.

so is this going to be like the PS4 once the console is powered into regular mode there will be a "Lock" on applications installled via homebrew?
