Unless you plan on buying another set of sticks/pro duo when your inevitable fakes corrupt or die, just buy from a reputable store. A decent price once it a lot better than cheap over and over again....

Go for the Sandisk Pro Duo 16GB from Umart I would not touch any Converter for Sony memory, for some reason not very successful

Umart seems to be pretty cheap compared to places like JB ($97.00 for 8GB sony pro duo)
I'll see how i go.
Good guys had no mem sticks on their site

Looked some stuff up on Amazon, 68 bucks australian for 2 microSDs and the photofast pro duo adapter..
That's without shipping though.. How much you guys reckon for shipping?
I have heard some bad reports with the photofast pro duo adapter even some where it turned the PSP into a brick here on this forum, go with pro duo mark 2, where in OZ do you live?

A memory stick bricked the PSP? I don't think that's possible. Just sticking it in bricked it? Or did the person run an update from it or something? (I'm considering getting a CR5400, but I'll keep my old card too and use it for updates if its necessary)

From memory I think he used it for the first time, an converter and 2 X 16GB sd micro cards, he tried to format them in his PSP (model un known) and that was the end

That sounds quite ridiculous, I fail to see how formatting any sort of MS can brick a PSP. Do you have a link or anything?

Bricking may be the wrong description more like broke the PSP, that’s all I know, I too was thinking of using a converter
