They go in /switch/melonds that's why.

You have an extra folder that shouldn't be there. Just copy/paste the bios in /switch/melonds.

Because you didn't listen to me. You have them in melonds-0.8.3 > switch > melonds, I told you to move them to just switch > melonds. It's not going to work unless you do.

There's the root of your sd card and there's a switch folder on the root, inside that is melonds, put them in there.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

It's on the first post of the thread about MelonDS on gbatemp.

This is my port of the Nintendo DS emulator melonDS for the Nintendo Switch. To use the emulator, place your legally dumped Nintendo DS BIOS files in the sdmc:/switch/melonds directory with the names "bios7.bin", bios9.bin", and "firmware.bin".

Fuck yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so happy to play dawn of sorrow. Soma got some new qt boots too:wub:

But wait, theres more! instead of a sequel thread, I'll just make a sequel post instead! hahahahahahahahahaha

So I'm also having trouble with retroarch. I seem to be missing the core to play my PSX and PSP games. I downloaded content off the app's build in updater but it still doesn't work

But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again

Ran a driver update in device manager?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not recently but I think it's less a driver issue and more just Windows having a garbage Bluetooth stack
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Could be I was having issues when I first upgraded it and didn't realiser gigabyte has specific driver revisions which is stupid
