do you use the album to access the hbmenu?
No, I press on the right button and click on a title.

I'm thinking I probably put the wrong types of files in the wrong places? My switch is on sysNAND instead of emuNAND. Is that the issue? I'm very new to this so I apologize if these are very noob-like questions.

that shouldn't really matter. It might be possible that there's a bug related to some filename or something like that. Can you try moving some files around a bit, or renaming them?

Woah, I don't know what I did but I just deleted the nds file of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time and replaced it with a different game's ROM. It works perfectly. I'm not sure why it had that error before? Maybe it was because I titled the file with the accent over the e? "Pokémon" vs. "Pokemon"

yeah, somebody reported some issues related to non ASCII characters in filenames before. I'm pretty sure I handle them correctly, though there could very well be an issue in the code with them, but it might also just be an issue on another level.

That’s interesting. Thanks so much for your help!!

It seems to come up in a lot of homebrew, could it be a libnx thing?

So been testing and enjoying a few games with this emu and its become so stable and has such good performance that overclocking was never had to be used and frame limiting was a need. That being said, any plans on a 2X resolution or 2XHQ filter?

maybe later, currently my focus still lies on optimisations.

Using DSATM and the DS Widescreen code works. Looks kinda bad because of the low res, but it works.

Some screens of Phantom Hourglass (the black bars are part of the two scenes):
