New Homebrew

Asiekierka has released Megahal for the NDS. Megahal is a conversation simulator better known as a “chatterbox.” The application is sometimes considered to be a form of AI but actually “it generates its conversation based on sequential and mathematical relationships.” Be sure to read the readme for installation instructions.

Some commands you can type instead of chatting:
#QUIT - Quit without saving (turn off your DS yourself)
#EXIT - Quit while saving (turn off your DS yourself after about 5 seconds)
#SAVE - Just save
#QUIET - leave MegaHal quiet (on/off; by default off)

We have a megahal bot on IRC and have had others before: sp33chy, phrog and currently spammy.
They can be boring at first but when they've learnt a lot of stuff their replies get funny.

You know you can just put the .brn and .dic file of a megahal bot to the a_megahal directory and it should work?
