Just figured out how to get VC console games on my Wii via wad installer. Put on some N64 games, play OK sound can be a little jump. But my issue is with Mega Drive games (UK name for the Genesis ). Also NES and SNES games just lock up the console, a manual reset is needed (but not hugely bothered for now).

When I select a MD game channel and load out I get a black screen. My TV shows no image coming through. However sound can be herd and if I press Home I can get the Wii menu screen up.

As posted I am playing a Pal console and in turn I have Pal wad files.

Can anyone offer advice please ?. All I can think is I need to somehow change the game screen compatibility .

That's a TV issue, my TV has the same problem and I never found a solution, but you can use homebrew emulators for this.

The problem is games that use the original non-interlaced video mode, which the Wii apparently can output, but is not supported by modern TV through component cable
The idea is to force the emulator to use Wii interlaced (480i/576i) mode
Also thanks, it works on my TV! And again I learned something new
