    I use Media Player CLassic for everyday stuff like music and short videos.
    I use Zoom Player for DVDs and Movies
    I use VLC as a back up if something doesn't work in the others.

    iTunes for music, MPC for movies and anime. I used to use VLC, but then it started having problems with some subs for some anime series. Then I got MPC with the CCCP and it has worked flawlessly.
