Hey, now, when everything is set up, I would like to find a way for media apps like Youtube, Spotify, Netflix and media player on firmware 4.55, but I can't find a way or PKG for these apps.
I'm not so educated about things that you can't do on hacked ps4 for now, so could you help me?

If the streaming apps work like they do on PS3 wouldn't they also need to be modified to bypass PSN access as well.

Only if PSN activation of the app is a necessity.

If not no.

Edit: just a thought but on wii u someone figures out once haxchi'd you can swap the certs and files of the latest browser (5.5.2) and reintroduce old webkit exploits. Perhaps we can regress the browser on PS4 to support streaming apps through their browser counterparts?

That's what I implied with "patched". ^__^;

Do you mean using the PS4 browser to access, for example, Netflix? Not going to work, cause DRM.

FWIK you'll need at least the Google(?) Widevine Content Decryption module (that's what used in Chrome and Firefox across all platforms/architectures, Microsoft and Apple use their proprietary solutions) and I would be really surprised if it's available in the Sony stripped down WebKit based web browser. Heck, a couple of years ago people struggled (read: they need to add patches and compile from sources) to use the Linux Chrome Widevine plugin on Firefox when it didn't had yet official Netflix support.
