Mine just came in the mail. briefly checked but there are no new firmware updates as far as I can see. Plugged it in and it works excellent. Tried MK8 before browsing the eshop a little bit and finally Tetris to check properly for lag and I'm PICKY. I didn't notice anything at all. I'll be using my DS4 on the switch for sure. 10/10.

Even the mayflash official video of it on youtube uses a DS4. Maybe that's why there is a problem with wii U pro controller. It wasn't fully tested like the DS4 was

webpage states the following in Q/A:

Q: Does it support analog triggers?
A: Yes, it supports analog triggers in XINPUT and PS3 mode, but in NS mode, only support digital triggers

Does this mean, the triggers L2/R2 don't work on the switch?

I believe it just means that in switch mode it can only detect L2R2 as a button push. It cannot recognize when only a certain amount of the trigger is pressed.

Has anyone tried an Xbox one controller?

Amazon Review says Yes does work, want to get one to test though as the wireless 360 adapter doesn't work:

I just got mine, and it works almost perfectly. Easy connection of joycon to PC and my wii u pro controller works.

The only problem I have is that in games, the Wii U pro controller keeps registering an up-right press of the joystick when it is not touched at all. This is more of a problem in minecraft than mario kart or Puyo puyo tetris, but it still irks me.

Does anyone know a way to fix that?

I can confirm this as a problem with both of my wii u pro controllers, although one is slightly up-right and the other is going down. I have tried re-calibrating using the ab+- method and that doesn't work either. I'm hoping we get a firmware update for the mayflash adapter; cause right now not too happy with the current wii u pro controller results.

I have also tried this convoluted setup where I sync my wii u pro controller to the existing wii u pro to pc mayflash wireless adapter in x-input mode and plugged that into this NS adapter and then plugged that into the switch and it actually did show up on the switch but still during mario kart would veer off to the right...
I tried d-input mode as well but then the controller didn't show up to the switch. Just to be clear (wii u pro adapter is in x-input and Magic NS was in switch mode)

I don't know how that thing works, but theoretically you could plug in an USB wireless receiver and that should work.
Only Bluetooth controllers work wirelessly natively.

I can confirm that my Microsoft x360 wireless receiver doesn't work.

Guess it's probably recognised as a Pokkén controller.
Nope, if it was then the left and right sticks wouldn't work properly.

My DS3 seems to be working good. So put that on the working list.

I just got a return email from mayflash (the support they have is great).

It says:

Please wait in patience and we will release a new firmware soonest to improve the bug at WII U controller.

Do you get any drifting during minecraft or mario kart?

Not in Mario Kart; when I let go of the stick it will go straight and not keep turning me to the right. I don't have minecraft. There is still this little problem from looking at my calibration menu. I'll let patrick's review from amazon describe it "I've noticed that if you let go of the control stick, sometimes it'll pull your character to the right". It doesn't always do it for me but sometimes, and it doesn't keep pulling to the right either like it used to.
