Mom's laptop's (HP Pavilion DV6707us) HDD failed. Had to get Best Buy to replace (didn't want to take the risk on shocking the MOBO).

I install 32 bit Basic Vista.

I install ALL drivers from: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...ct=3648475&

Everything seems to work besides the WIRELESS.

Any hints? I can't get the wireless LAN enabled so I can search for routers...

Stupid bots for the online chat working for HP told me to take out and reseat the network card -_-.

Did you double check the device manager & make sure the wireless driver is working properly? If it is maybe the manufacturer has driver updates not listed on the HP page.

That's the thing, nothing is being installed for the wireless, even if I install the right drivers...nothing shows up under network besides NVIDIA force controller.
