Got my Wii modded today and I really want to play strikers, but I'm scared.

Someone hold me close... or at the very lease, put my mind at ease.

So I've got an ntsc system fully updated and I understand that there's no immediate danger in running strikers with this set up, but I hear it does do some sort of false update when you put it in. This bothers me, should it?

Anyway, I was wondering with the advent of wii brick blocker, is this false update no longer an issue or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

you'll be fine if you're up to date but if you're still scared just run the brickblocker patch on the iso then burn.

Yeah, the brick blocker's pretty sweet. But you have nothing to worry about if you decide against using it, as long as you're updated fully from Wii System Software update in the Wii options menu.
