Hacking Mario kart wii multiplayer menu hacking

Holy mother Nep-Nep its been awhile since i've been here!

so i've got a question that might be easy to answer.

i wanna change the background of the multiplayer menu background from back:

to this:

please excuse the poor image editing but this is just a rough idea of what i want it to look like.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Easy. Just texture edit you're multiplayer menu file by ripping the iso and extracting the contents and using a paint program and szs modifier. I cant remember the exact file name from the top of my head. good luck

well i have done all that, i've got the menumulti.szs file on my desktop (which BTW i use brawlbox) now i need to know where the background is located in said file

Afaik i think its 3D modeling. My friend atlas is really good at this shit. I will ask him for you.

quick little post here, cant talk long as i'm in class right now but yesterday i found a file called bg.brlyt in the menumulti.szs file that MIGHT be related to this topic.

now i haven't used brlyt files before but this could be the answer i'm looking for. unless this is just a file to tell the game where everything goes like the SSBB character select screen.

BTW if this counts as double posting, sorry! i felt as though i needed to update you all on the progress with this.
