Hacking mario kart has DLC?

The map is temporarily downloaded and then deleted.

Even if it resided in memory long enough to extract it, you wouldn't be able to access it from the game.


It could be added as a stage to a custom ISO, but that would require modification that's out of grasp for most people.

Not if the menu is hardcoded to the track...


And like I said... it's a temporary file, so it might not even be formatted the same as a normal track.
 
If it is formatted the same I don't see why the menu cares. The menu probably doesn't care about the contents of a "track file" so replacing it with a valid alternative will probably do the trick. Console games generally aren't designed to make stuff like this difficult as they don't really need to prevent it.
