For a number of years, I've been mounting my OneDrive storage on my local PC as a network drive mapping using this method. I do this because it serves my needs and lets me avoid dealing with signing into and running the dedicated OneDrive client.
About six months ago, though, this stopped working. I am still able to sign into my account via the network drive mapper on Windows, and I am able to view the list of files in my OneDrive in File Explorer, but no files will open anymore, either throwing a permissions error or just locking up my UI entirely.
Probably a pretty niche question, but just curious if anyone else here has experienced the same thing and can share any insight as to why it may be happening. Like I said, it started maybe 6 months ago, and occurred across all machines where I would do this at about the same time (all running different versions and update levels for Windows), so my guess is this may be a backend change from Microsoft? Maybe there's some security setting/option somewhere I need to toggle? Having a lot of difficulty finding any insight online as most people probably just use the OneDrive client.
