Mine doesn't read cartridges well. Plopped in 1-2 Switch and it loaded it on the home screen immediately. I tried starting it and it kicked me back to the home menu with an error saying something like "there was a problem with software so it needed to be closed." I put Zelda back in (which worked fine initially) and it gave me the error on that too. Had to reboot twice before the game could load.

Customer came in today saying her switch had dead pixels out of the box...Which on the setup menu, it did.
Hopefully that's a software issue rather than the pins on the slot being poor. If it is the former, then Nintendo will hopefully fix it soon.

Edit: I'm referring to the cartridge reading issue, not the dead pixel issue which is typically permanent and poor quality of the LCD.

I have a two year warranty with my store so I'm not too worried about getting it replaced. It's just a shame it's happening to many people though. I've seen the issue repeated online.

Well i put screen protector on all devices
plus users have a waranty
Depends of the warranty.
For example, in México, if you brought from a online shop, you'll probably no have warranty. (Some Online shops, and some users WILL NO GIVE YOU WARRANTY.)
But for example, like official stores (LiverPool, Sambors, GamePlanet, Gamers, RadioShack, etc.) they will give you warraty at the least 2 years (?)
My Wii U had 2 warranty years, but rarely i touch my shitty Wii U lmao

I repeat, with a simple reboot can't fix all. that will be like Gameboy or SNES Era, just a blow in the game, insert, enjoy again. (awww nostalgia)
Using a protector, can still damage the screen, damages the screen so hard.
By screen protector i mean a glass screan protector
and anyway it is possible that nintendo have manifacturing issue, but they are gonna fix that
anyway the few unlocky users, can exchange their units

Wherever you by it, you still have the nintendo waranty

I've had some issues with the cartridge slot as well. It almost always works, but if the cart is left in while asleep it sometimes thinks the cart isn't there as needs to be reinserted

*Freezes
*Game Cartridge doesn't read
*Glitchy screen
*JoyCon Stuck Issue
*Sound issues
*Dock is terrible, leaves the screen with horribles scratchs
*And much more...!

Just look this...

Where is the source saying that "MANY" users ? I read other forums that they are happy with it and don't have an issues like this video. Suspicious or maybe some NS happened to those things.. Not everyone have that.

Therefore, I don't trust this video. Youtube has many liars people there making up like that. They might abuse or or something like it then showing it to you. That's why I don't watch youtube at all. I watch youtube like video game guide map, exercise, or something like that. A honest video only. You gotta be careful not to watch youtube. Most youtube are garage and a liars people out there.

NONE of this is happening to me.

No freezes, no game card errors, no joy con issues, no glitchy screen, no sound issues, and no dock issues as well. What the fuck is "much more"?

This article is total clickbait, Reported. Especially because it makes all of these out to be such a common thing. None of them are. At all.

Yeah, I've seen this stuff posted on /v/, so I have a good feeling it is bs made by people who hate the console and want it to fail.
