edit the iso file with a hex editor to find the header check is similar to:

57 55 50 2D 50 2D 41 52 50 50 2D 30 30 2D 31 30
31 45 55 52 2D 32 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Yo ,
thanks for the release but seems header of the file is wrong it have to looke like this:
57 55 50 2D 50 2D 41 52 50 50 2D 30 30 2D 31 30
31 45 55 52 2D 32 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
(it was the code released by team wiikey it correspond to the header "tittle id ? " : WUP-P-ARPP-00-101EUR-2 )

The file size is also a big hint that it's fake.
Release groups always release RAW (1:1) image of the media they dump. The RAW size of Wii U singled layer disc is around 23GB.
The current nfo states that the dump (ISO?) is 8~9GB.

Even if the dump was scrubbed (assuming they understood how to do it), what would be the point in doing so? Download/store size?
There's no purpose in altering a dump without knowing if doing so won't render it useless for the (future) intended use (piracy).

Another thing is that scrubbing could even work differently on WiiU than it worked on the Wii.
There may be protections preventing modifications.
For example, a scrubbed dump could require to be re-encrypted using the master key if the dummy areas are now part of the encryption/signing process.
There's only one dump available for the moment to compare with a Wii Disc format.

Don't trust release group with dumps smaller than 23GB.

Nice post Cyan, to add a little more that's worth noting.

Let's say you download a touched (changed image) it MAY affect the ability to run it and also makes it easier to spot from the WiiU side of things and so easier block able by Nintendo.

If anyone has any intention of downloading these (WiiU images), remember you don't even know a way of running it (yet) even if it is untouched. Getting some shrunk, scrubbed or any other way altered image increase the chance of getting something you might not ever be able to use.

I'm finding it hard to see why so many are interested in downloading these tbh.

yeah...... no way of loading WiiU/3DS backups
>.>
<.<

but there's still people that wish to preserve data, and for that they need to be 100% clean and unaltered

Can't say I'm surprised, there is fake everything else. Once I got something that was literally a 2 hour rickroll. Not to say anything of the countless passworded crap to get you to go to there survey site...
