Just use NUSspli. As long as the stuff you want to download is on the eShop, you can download to your SD card and install on your USB or NAND with one button. No bothering with WUDs and how absurdly big they are (as full disc images, they have the junk data and blank space on the Not Blu-Rays too!)

You don't strictly need a titlekey website either, but it helps a lot. I'll send PMs.

The reasons to pursue playing games on wii u hardware in my opinion: 1- you have limited hardware availability and you have little other choice, 2- you are in love with the idea of "the ultimate Nintendo machine" which plays pretty much all games up-to Switch natively (well not really with injection,) 3- you love the wii u hardware itself (control pad, the 2-screen concept, the fact that it's a kinda obscure/failed Nintendo console, etc.) If you don't meet these criteria, you're definitely better off emulating on pc. It's certainly more convenient to just drop a game in an emulator.

Thanks for the help everyone. I finally got everything working and am just about finished loading up the last of my games. Have almost the full library of everything I want for N64, Gamecube, Wii and Wii U.

I was approaching all of this from my previous experience with ROMs, just being able to download from ROM sites and load them up in an emulator.

Obviously this is a different process and using the ROMs I was finding didn't work. Once I installed windows on my Mac and installed Wii U USBHelper and TeconMoon VCWii injector everything went pretty smoothly from there.

I now have all the games I want to play on my Wii U homescreen as launchable titles and can even play the Gamecube games in Nintendont with the Gamepad, without having to load up the VCWii first and then load Nintendont, just boot straight to the game.

Being able to use the gamepad is nice, though if there were a way to use TeconMoon to boot a Gamecube game from the Wii U homescreen but use the Wii U Pro controller instead of the gamepad, that would be amazing.

nintendont is compatible with the pro controller.

nintendont is compatible with the pro controller.

I should add, I have a 3rd party Pro controller, not an original one from Nintendo - I live in Mexico and couldn't find an authentic one, and believe Nintendont claims to have issues with 3rd party ones?

Regardless, how would I do this? Now when I launch a Gamecube game from the homescreen, it gives me the option to use the gamepad as a controller. If I choose "yes" it uses the gamepad, the Pro controller shuts off and doesn't work to control the game when turning back on, but the gamepad still works.

If I choose "no" then it defautls to having me use my WiiMote and the Pro controller also works.

TBH< I'm not a big fan of the gamepad for playing for long sessions, not as comfortable to hold. Being able to play my gamecube games using a 3rd party Wii U Pro controller would really make my week though.

I'll just have to keep checking used websites then to see if an official one comes up for sale or grab one next time I'm in the US.

When using the official Pro controller, is it possible to play multiplayer for Gamecube games on Nintendont using multiple Pro controllers? Or combo of Pro controller and Gamepad?

I found a used Pro controller for $70 which seems expensive, but I might buy to have an alternative to the gamepad.

How would I use the Pro controller when launching Gamecube games with TeconMoon Installer from the Wii U home screen?

Would I select "no" to using the gamepad, and it would then allow me to use the Pro controller since it would be first-party?

Or would I select "yes" to use the Gamepad but the Pro controller would also work here?
