Hacking Making skins for my Madcatz Showcase?

How should I go about doing this? I just got the Showcase a couple days ago, and I didn't wanna use those cheap, ugly football skins D: So... is there like a certain program or something that lets you just insert a picture, and prints it out in the right size? I don't really care about the back cover, just mostly the front.

Also, do I need a good printer for them to come out OK? I bought some of that nice, glossy printer paper, but I'm not sure if my crappy printer will just ruin them. D:
