I've always wanted to make a game for the wii and have recently stumbled across homebrew development tools for the homebrew channel. However, is there any way to make homebrew apps into wbfs's or iso's so I could put them on a backup disc on my shelf for personal accomplishment? Or is there just a way to develop applications into wfbs's and iso's from the get go?
Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I did more research, so this is for all those who google it and need some help of their own.

So What You'll Need:
-A (hopefully legal) WBFS or ISO
-The Homebrew DOL You Want To Run
-A wii capable of playing burnt discs (or use dolphin if you're weird like that ._.)

So firstly you want to use something like Dolphin or Wit https://wit.wiimm.de to extract the contents of the disc into a folder like so:

Next, you want to locate the main.dol that the disc boots from.
For me this was DATA/sys/main.dol
Replace this main.dol with your homebrew dol and remember to rename it as main.dol

Finally, you want to use something like the "wit copy" command (go to the website linked previously for list of commands) to compile the folder into a wbfs/iso.

Now if you've done everything correctly, use the wbfs/iso that wit outputted, and test it on dolphin, if everything works, good job! Put it on a backup disc and put it on your shelf.

I might update this post in the future for information on banner changing and safely closing a game (as of now, the console crashes if you exit the application)
