It is expected that they would try to keep both on the same console.
Perhaps they're waiting to see if OoT does well before releasing MM?

mario 64 and star fox 64 use the same engine as well ! so its only logical to include them ! I herd that they will be included with OoT 3DS ! its more like confirmed ! The rumors are actually about f-zero, luigies mansion, mario sunshine, and halo being a part of the package.
dam no wonder why people think the psp2 is already dead, if Nintendo keeps doing this they will even kill the psp3 with the 3ds, dam its good to be a nintendo fan !

Though how many times do they expect us to pay for this game? It's been released in some format on every 3D Nintendo home console and was even given away as a freebie in the GCN collectors edition (which also included LoZ, LoZ II: AoL, and MM and a WW demo) if you bought a GCN during the promotion.

Then again, there's no way in hell I'm buying a 3DS without getting this game.
